Fight For This Country: Cheryl Cole dons army fatigues as she trains with British troops on ‘awe inspiring’ trip to Afghanistan
She donned a variety of camouflage-style outfits when she was promoting her summer anthem Fight For This Love.
But yesterday Cheryl Cole wore the army colours for a different reason, as she became the new forces’ sweetheart while visiting British troops in Afghanistan.
The 28-year-old star flew out to Camp Bastion in the Helmand province on Tuesday night on a visit to mark 10 years of British operations in the country.

In a cheeky stunt organised by Army explosive experts, the Girls Aloud singer got to blow up a dummy of Simon Cowell.

Robbie Williams naked in front of X Factor wannabes
ROBBIE Williams shocked X Factor wannabes by prancing NAKED in front of them with just palm leaves covering his tackle.
The saucy singer came up with the prank when he revealed himself as guest coach for the eight hopefuls in the talent show’s “boys” category.
The lads’ mentor, Rob’s Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, had no idea it was going to happen — and was equally taken aback.

Ronan Parke has premiered his first music video online.
The Britain’s Got Talent star, who released ‘A Thousand Miles’ earlier this week, has revealed the accompanying video on his official Vevo page.
The track is a cover of Vanessa Carlton’s 2001 hit and will appear on Parke’s forthcoming self-titled debut album, which will be available on October 24.

One Direction, Jason Derulo and Ed Sheeran are among the acts who have joined the lineup for BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards.
It was previously announced that ‘All About Tonight’ star Pixie Lott would headline the upcoming event, which celebrates the achievements of inspirational teenagers. The event will be hosted by Nick Grimshaw and The Saturdays’ Mollie King.
X Factor boyband One Direction will be joined by fellow contestant Cher Lloyd, while hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks and the now-solo Joe Jonas will also perform at the Wembley Arena event on October 9.
