Yikes. Last year’s X Factor UK’s runner-up, Jahmene Douglas is releasing an album of covers via RCA. This is likely not going to end well. Last year 2011’s runner-up Marcus Collins also released an album of covers (with a few originals) and it tanked. Guess on which label? RCA.

Finishing second on the X Factor may not have been the worst thing for Jahmene Douglas.
The reality television runner-up has announced that he will release his debut album Love Never Fails on 22 July and has exclusively revealed his cover version of Halo to MailOnline.
While the actual X Factor winner James Arthur has been rather slow on capitalising on his own success, Jahmene has completed a album and is ready to release his first single, Titanium.

U.K. girl group opens up to MTV News about their debut album, out today, and its girl-power influences.
Little Mix have a big expectation for 2013: global domination. With their debut album, DNA, dropping in the U.S. on Tuesday (May 28), the quirky U.K. foursome want to “take over everything.”
“We just want to kind of show the U.S. as much as we can really in this next year,” Jade Thirlwall told MTV News ahead of their album release, adding that they are hoping for a Madison Square Garden gig this year. “We just want to take over everything. The dream is to be globally successful and have a really long career, and hopefully get an amazing new album [to follow DNA], get some more hits under our belt and just have an amazing time.”

When Little Mix first burst onto the scene on the X Factor, although they wore some outrageous clothes, there was a lot less skin flashing going on.

Ella has been very vocal about her weight struggles in the past, admitting in an interview with MailOnline that she became underweight after dropping over two stone two years ago.

The boyband member, 28, today announced that the radio station had awarded him a Saturday night slot to compliment the Friday night show he already helms.
The Beat Again singer only began presenting on air when his own show debuted in March, but the station are so impressed with his work so far that he has been rewarded with additional air-time.

Police cars were spotted arriving at Tulisa Contostavlos’ house on Sunday morning just hours after she was exposed as an alleged drug fixer and was caught arranging an £800 cocaine deal through a friend.
An undercover reporter from The Sun newspaper revealed the scandal and unveiled how she helped arrange the drug deal through introduction.
The publication also revealed they had handed over a dossier of information on the scandal to the Metropolitan police – and on Sunday morning a police car was seen turning up to the singer’s home.
