Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne gave Directioners some faith in their friendship Monday (Apr. 23) with a brief exchange on Twitter that proves the two singers still keep in touch despite their ongoing hiatus.
“Wake up dickhead and give me a ring,” Tomlinson demanded in a tweet to Payne, who responded “I’ve been up for hours you knob I was running late and I’m just about to reply to your text.”

Yet Liam Payne clearly has not forgotten where he came from as he revealed in an interview with Berlin’s Bild magazine that he is still firm friends with his One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson.
The boy band star, 24, who shares one-year-old son Bear with girlfriend Cheryl, proudly announced he is still pals with his bandmate and is even preparing for his son and Louis’ child Freddie Reign, two, to form their own friendship.

According to Daily Telegraph, the pair belted out a number of Aussie classics, including The Horses and John Farnham’s You’re The Voice.

Former X Factor star Joe McElderry was forced to cancel a gig at the last minute after it emerged the venue had received a ‘suspicious letter’ days before.
The 26-year-old was set to perform at The Empire Theatre in Consett, County Durham, last night.
But the pop star called off the show shortly before he was due on stage after being told the theatre had received the letter three days earlier.
In a statement the Climb singer said: ‘Myself and my management team were totally unaware of any threat to me before last night’s show.
‘At 7.26pm last night I was informed of a suspicious letter that had been intercepted by Consett theatre management three days previous and I learned of some of its content.

X FACTOR bosses are scrapping the room auditions two years after bringing them back.
Hopefuls on the ITV programme will now have to sing in front of a live crowd of thousands, as they did in previous years.
Producers previously axed the rooms, where contestants sing only in front of the judging panel, in 2015.
A show source said: “It’s often a once in a lifetime opportunity for those who audition.
“While performing in front of four of the most knowledgeable people in music, when else will some of these people get the chance to sing in front of an arena full of thousands?
“Ultimately, bosses are looking for an act who could go on to sell out arenas so this will be their chance to show they are arena worthy from the very first audition.
