She’s taken a few very big steps forward since winning The X Factor crown in 2006, but her hair appeared to be heading in the opposite direction during an appearance on ITV show Daybreak.

Leona Lewis was making a promotional visit to the studio as she plugs festive new album of Christmas With Love and its lead single, Winter Wonderland.

The album will be her fourth of a seven year recording career that has seen her achieve wider acclaim in the US thanks to her distinctive voice.

Life after The X Factor looks promising for Hannah Barrett after she was asked to support fellow talent show superstar Leona Lewis, on Saturday evening.

The singers, who both started off on the ITV1 programme but were seven years apart, took to London’s G-A-Y stage for a special event.

Leona, 28, stepped out in a show-stopping dress for her performance alongside two topless male dancer were clad in festive, red trousers.

Singer Cher Lloyd seems to have been adopted by the American public and on Thursday, she proved just how popular she is when she performed at Macy’s 87th annual Thanksgiving Parade.

The former X Factor star stood upon a bridged shaped float and performed to the waiting crowds who lined the streets of Manhattan. The parade was aired on the NBC channel.

Cher, 20, performed her hit single, I Wish, which was released back in September and the crowds were lapping up her rendition.

Four years after he appeared on The X Factor, Olly Murs has admitted that it would be ‘incredible’ to make his return, but this time on the other side of the famous desk.

The singer opened up while appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, set to air on Saturday, after rumours emerged that he could be the next judge to join the ITV1 show.

When asked by the host if he would take the role if he was offered it, the 29-year-old said: ‘It would be incredible. I did the show in 2009, so I’ve pretty much done everything, I’ve been a contestant, I’ve been a presenter, I’ve cleaned, I’ve done everything.

X Factor 2013 final: ‘Wacky’ acts to return for special group performance
Wacky X Factor acts past and present are set to appear on this year’s final.

A huge variety of novelty acts are set to take to the stage at Wembley Arena on December 15 for what is sure to be a very special group performance.

Those set to return include Wagner and Kitty Brucknell, as well as duos Diva Fever and 2 Shoes and last year’s star Rylan Clark.

The Sun reports that the group song will be part of a celebration of the show’s tenth series on air.

An insider told the newspaper today: “Seeing Wagner, Kitty and Rylan back on the stage where they found fame will be a massive treat for viewers.

“It is a great way to help mark The X Factor’s tenth birthday.”

One Direction score fastest selling album of their career with Midnight Memories
Midnight Memories becomes the fastest selling album of Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Liam’s career to date, and the fastest selling artist album of 2013 so far.

One Direction have gone straight in at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart today with their third full-length, Midnight Memories. In doing so, the Anglo-Irish boyband have not only scored the fastest selling artist album of 2013 so far, but also the fastest selling album of their career to date.

According to Official Charts Company’s sales data, Midnight Memories has sold more than 237,000 copies during the last seven days, beating the first week tallies of 2011’s Up All Night (139,000 copies week one) and 2012’s Take Me Home (155,000 copies).

Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne’s third full-length is also the fastest selling artist album of 2013 so far, overtaking the previous record holder, Random Access Memories by Daft Punk, which sold 165,000 copies during its first week sale in the UK back in May.
