They are the biggest boy band of their generation and have taken the world by storm.

But it seems not every one is a fan of the boy band sensation One Direction.

When the five-piece picked up the Song Of The Summer accolade at the MTV VMA awards on Sunday, a large section of the audience let out some deafening boos.

She can’t help but take digs at her ex Harry Styles at nearly every awards show.

And Taylor Swift continued the trend as she appeared to back-handedly thank the One Direction singer for their failed romance after receiving an award for Best Female Video at the MTV VMAs on Sunday.

The 23-year-old was given the honour for her song I Knew You Were Trouble, which was penned with Styles in mind after she felt spurned by the handsome Brit, 19, following their first of two attempts at a romance.

Taylor Swift had just made another very public dig at his expense at the MTV VMAs on Sunday.

But the personal attack didn’t seem to faze Harry Styles, as moments later he stole an admiring glance of his former flame’s stunning figure as she walked passed him in the aisle.

The 19-year-old – who has clearly grown used to dealing with the occasional spurned lover – soon moved on from reminiscing about his previous conquests to chatting up some new prospects in the form of Rihanna and Lady Gaga.

One Direction got booed while receiving their MTV Video Music Award on Sunday night.

But the five boybanders did not appear fazed on Monday as they coordinated in black and white ensembles for the New York premiere of One Direction: This Is Us.

The British group put on a brave face, and pulled several others, while posing on the black carpet of the Ziegfeld Theatre.

ET’s Rocsi Diaz was with One Direction for their big One Direction: This Is Us movie premiere in New York City Monday night, where the boys elaborated on the much-shared photograph of themselves and Rihanna reacting to Miley Cyrus’ racy MTV Video Music Awards performance, which quickly went viral.

“It was interesting, yeah,” Liam Payne said about Miley’s controversial twerking.

“You just can’t hide that, can you?” he added, explaining their priceless facial reactions in the photograph.

He earned himself the nickname Daddy Direction because Directioners tend to agree he is the most mature member of One Direction, who likes to take care of his bandmates.

And showing that his parental side doesn’t just stop with the rest of the group Liam Payne was spotted tenderly holding a friend’s baby as he made his way through the airport in New York.

Looking like a modern-day version of the iconic Athena poster Man and Baby, Liam, 19, proved he was more than a natural when it came to child care.

Despite waiting for hours to meet One Direction, the dedicated fans gathered alongside the black carpet at Monday night’s New York premiere of the documentary “One Direction: This Is Us” didn’t lose their enthusiasm.

As they tried to keep from fainting, the group of mostly teenage girls who had been chosen to stand within arm’s reach of their idols screamed, sang the chorus to the band’s hit “What Makes You Beautiful” and squealed with delight when they saw Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik.

Room for one more? The X Factor reveal a FIFTH judge will join Gary, Sharon, Nicole and Louis on the judging panel
There’s already been a significant shake-up on The X Factor judging panel with Tulisa Contostavlos heading for the exit and firebrand Sharon Osbourne returning from a six-year hiatus to fill her seat.

But while fireworks are expected, the popular ITV show has revealed there are further surprises awaiting fans when proceedings get underway this Saturday.

In a telling tweet posted on their official website, they revealed that a fifth judge is expected to sidle up alongside Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Sharon during the audition stages.

‘Find out who (or what) the #fifthjudge is on Friday…’ they posted on Tuesday afternoon.
