UPDATE: 50 Cent has been added to the Thursday Lineup (X Factor)
The Hollywood Reporter says the negotiations went down to the wire–up until late last night–but the X Factor Top 3 have their duet partners for tonight.
Chris Rene will sing with Avril Lavigne, Josh Krajcik will sing with Alanis Morisette and Melanie Amaro will share the stage with R. Kelly.

The contestants had only a few hours to rehearse a duet with a well-known singing partner? That ought to test some mettle.
Oh. And Chris Rene with Avril? REALLY NOW?
Tonight’s order will go: Josh, Chris and Melanie. Each finalists will perform 3 songs.
Performers for tomorrow include: Leona Lewis ruining singing Snow Patrol’s “Run”, Pitbull & Ne-Yo performing their mega hit “Give Me Everything,” and Justin Bieber singing a medley of “The Christmas Song” and “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.” Drew Ryniewicz (who auditioned with a slowed-down version of Bieber’s “Baby”) joins him on stage for part of the song. And also, Stevie Wonder will perform.
Simon Cowell promises a few more surprises, so stay tuned.
