Tonight, the remaining 6 X Factor finalists will sing TWO songs. One song was chosen by YOU via the Pepsi Challenge. Fans have also chosen other elements of the performance, including costumes, lighting and choreography elements.

The remaining song will be UNPLUGGED, chosen by the finalists respective mentors (more likely a team of producers!) The unplugged aspect is interesting. I wonder if Simon is attempting to counter the criticism that the production numbers are overwhelming the talent of the finalists. Nevertheless, I think it’s a good idea. Stripped down performances will reveal who has got the vocal goods…or not.
Meanwhile, @xfactoraccess has tweeted some photo clues that hint at what unplugged songs the finalists will perform tonight. Can you guess what the contestants will be singing? Beats me if I can.
Some are guessing Lady Gaga’s “Edge of Glory”, which makes sense for CeCe Frey.
If Fifth Harmony hadn’t already sung it, I’d guess Kelly’s stronger. But I’m thinking it’s probably another Whitney Houston song for Diamond White. Ha.
Hm. Is “Love Me” in the song title of Carly Rose Sonenclar’s unplugged tune?
Gosh, there are no country songs with religion as it’s theme! Ha. Maybe Tate Stevens will sing Bon Jovi’s “Living on a Prayer”?

Maybe the Emblem3 boys are singing “I’m Alright” by Kenny Loggins. I wouldn’t put it past Simon Cowell to choose such an utterly lame song.
