American Idol 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina headed back to her home state Georgia to sing the National Anthem at Truist Park in Atlanta for World Series Game 5 (Oct 31).
Lauren grew up an Atlanta Braves fan watching games with her dad. She was excited to play at Truist Park in 2018 along with Jason Aldean, Hootie & the Blowfish, and Luke Combs and said she even got to meet Chipper Jones. She was spotted back at the park on the three-year anniversary of her performance earlier this year once again rooting on the Braves.

The Braves are facing off against the Houston Astros for the MLB World Series title. If Atlanta wins tonight, they win the series, and on their home turf.
The country singer performed an understated version of the Anthem with acoustic guitar accompaniment. A member of the Frog-X Parachute Team jumped out of a plane and landed in the field just as Lauren finished singing.
