Are you ready for the FIRST American Idol vote of the 2019 season? Show producers chose 3 singers from tons of entries that were uploaded to Instagram. The three singers, 17 year old Meghan Woods from Hendersonville, North Carolina, 26 year old Cameron Lenz from Pleasanton, California and 19 year old Natalie Spiroff from Dayton, Ohio are vying for a coveted golden ticket to the Hollywood Round.
Idol judge Luke Bryan invited the show to his new venue in Nashville, Luke’s 32 Bridge, where the trio were recorded performing covers of popular country songs. The clips were aired throughout the 2018 CMA Awards broadcast on Wednesday (Nov 14) with instructions on how to vote for your favorite singer. Viewers can either vote via the American Idol app, or head over to AmericanIdol.com/vote. The winner will be announced Friday November 16 on Good Morning America.
Only snippets were aired on the CMAs. Online videos feature full performances. Check them out here.
Meghan Woods covers Carrie Underwood’s “Cry Pretty” – She slows up the arrangement. She kinda looks like season 17 finalist Gabby Barrett, right? They don’t sound alike, however.

Cameron Lenz covers Keith Urban’s “Blue Ain’t Your Color” – He has a nice tone? I wish there were more dynamics, though.

Natalie Spiroff covers “Different For Girls” by Dierks Bentley ft. Elle King – It’s no wonder Natalie’s clip aired last–she’s clearly the most poised of the three. She’ll probably take this contestant.
