Thirty-two year old Valerie Ponzio demonstrates her retro country vocal chops in this new Blind Audition preview from The Voice Season 12.
The El Paso, Texas native, who sings in a duo with her boyfriend, manages to get coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys and Gwen Stefani to turn with her rendition of Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire.”
It doesn’t take long until all four coaches to begin fighting over the Americana songstress. Adam Levine calls her “Amazing.” When Valerie reveals she was a huge fan of Gwen Stefani’s growing up, the coach exclaims, “That’s crazy ’cause I’m actually obsessed with you now and I would love to work with you!”
