R&B star Usher brought his unique energy to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as the star of the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show.

The former The Voice coach performed some of his most well loved hits, including “Nice & Slow,” “U Don’t Have to Call” and “Love In This Club.” Surprise guests included another former The Voice coach Alicia Keys resplendent in a flowing red dress at the piano.

The two singers performed a brief snippet of Alicia’s “If I Ain’t Got You” before singing a rendition of “My Boo,” their 2004 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit. Other guests included Oscar-winning R&B singer-songwriter H.E.R. She took the stage to play a blistering guitar solo during Usher’s “U Got It Bad” performance before playing the opening licks of “Bad Girl.” Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon and Ludacris also took the stage.

Eventually, Usher stipped off his shirt to show off his rippling muscles and he also performed on roller skates! What a show.

The football game ended up a nail biter, with the Kansas City Chiefs pulling out a 25-22 win over the San Francisco 49s in overtime. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was declared the game’s MVP. After flying in from the Japanese leg of her concert tour, Taylor Swift was in the stands cheering on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
