American Idol 2016 winner Trent Harmon appeared at the Richmond International Speedway in Richmond Virginia on Sunday to perform the National Anthem before the Toyota Owners 400 NASCAR race, part of the Sprint Cup Series. The race aired on the FOX television network.
Trent, along with the American Idol Top 5 performed the God Bless America at the NASCAR race in Fontana California last month. Sunday’s National Anthem is the Big Machine Label Group artist’s first solo NASCAR stint. Considering how much label head Scott Borchetta loves the NASCAR, it probably won’t be his last.
The singer’s first solo National Anthem outing was before the Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley Jr. welterweight fight in Las Vegas earlier this month.
