Todrick Hall, Christian Spears, Erica Rhodes, Kimberly Carver, Maegan Wright: Pre-Idol Music

Here’s what your  Season 9 Dallas hopefuls were up to before they auditioned for American Idol:

Todrick Hall – Many of you already know about Munchkin gate, so I’ll move on to some of Todrick’s pre-Idol performances. Here he is singing “The Magical Land of Oz” from the musical he wrote and directed, “Oz: The Musical” He worked with several ex-Idols in various productions of the show, including Mikalah Gordon, Vonzell Soloman and Diana DeGarmo. Also, check out Todrick’s take on “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye”. Dude may be a kiddie scammer, but he’s a talented kiddie scammer….

Maegan Wright, the sweet country singer, who shocked Kara with her pipes sounds way different on her MySpace than she did in her audition. She’s got a real tough girl bluesy thing going on, rather than the sweet country vibe she displayed on Idol. Check it out HERE.

Here’s cancer survivor, Christian Spears, singing Taylor Swift’s “Fifteen” with a few pals, HERE.

Kimberly Carver, the gal Simon thought was too old-fashioned, sings in church. HERE.

And former Barney kid and current dominatrix, Erica Rhodes has a few links out on the internet, including her acting resume for the Horne Agency, a bland dance tune called “Nothing Left to Lose”, a MySpace page, and a video of Erica working in the studio.
