The World’s Best Ratings Fall After Super Bowl Premiere

WOW! The World’s Best moved to its regular Wednesday night time slot after premiering after the Super Bowl on Sunday, and the show’s ratings fell to a 1.0 in the key 18-49 demo. THAT is not a good thing. The 22 million people who watched the show Sunday were mostly not impressed enough to tune in again. The World’s Best was the lowest unscripted program of the night.

Meanwhile, The Masked Singer ratings led the night despite dropping 4/10ths of a point in the demo, from a 2.6 last week to a 2.2.

The James Corden-hosted series posted a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 with 5.56 million viewers, which was not only obviously down from the show’s post-Super Bowl premiere’s 7.0 and 22.2 million viewers, but also lower in the demo than any of the night’s other unscripted programs. Meanwhile, FOX’s “The Masked Singer” led the night yet again, despite falling from its previous 2.6 to a 2.2 this week.
