The Voice season 16 is almost here! The new cycle premieres Monday February 25 on NBC. The Battle Rounds, which were filmed at the end of January, will feature team advisors for each of the coaches–as always. The Voice announced the music stars assisting with the contestants: Pop singer Charlie Puth, country duo Brooks & Dunn, R&B artist Khalid and country singer Kelsea Ballerini.

Kelly Clarkson will get an assist from one of her Meaning of Life tour openers, Kelsea Ballerini. The country singer also played the 5th coach in the digital only feature, The Comeback Stage last season. The singer who won the contest and become the 13th finalist, Lynnea Moore, chose to be a member of Team Kelly.
Brooks and Dunn announced on twitter that they helped assist the members of Team Blake Shelton. “This just in…we’re joining #TeamBlake as Battles Advisors this season on @NBCTheVoice! We’re coming for you @blakeshelton!” they wrote on Twitter

And as far as Team Adam Levine goes, pop singer Charlie Puth announced on Instagram that he’d be assisting the Maroon 5 front man. “Excited to announce that i will be joining #teamadam as a battles advisor this season on @nbcthevoice! it’s fun to work with yer friends,” the singer wrote.
And are we recycling Battle Advisors now? Charlie joined Alicia Keys as an advisor in fall 2016 for The Voice season 11.
And that leaves, by process of elimination, Khalid. The artist just released a new single “Talk” and will be joining newbie Team John Legend.
