The second season of NBC’s breakout hit, The Voice, premiers after tonight’s big Super Bowl game between the Patriots and the Giants (GO PATS!).
As a reminder during the game, NBC is airing a 60s spot featuring The Voice coaches–Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine–as NINJAS duking it our for a supremacy. There’s a little twist at the end. (Well, not really, can we declare this particular meme overplayed? Can we?)
The premiere opens with the coaches singing a Prince medley. I don’t know about you, but I’m anticipating a HOT MESS. I wonder how much cleavage Xtina will be baring?
Before the game, Blake Shelton and his wife, Miranda Lambert will sing America The Beautiful and Kelly Clarkson, who will appear as a mentor later on in the season, will perform the National Anthem.
