The Voice Season 21 Top 5 sang for your votes on last night’s performance finale. And on tonight’s grand finale, The Voice crowns a winner.

The Top 5 includes Wendy Moten and Paris Winningham from Team Blake Shelton, Girl Named Tom and Hailey Mia from Team Kelly Clarkson and Jershika Maple from Team John Legend. Newbie coach Ariana Grande has no team members in the finale.

The Voice 21 Finale Poll Results & Predictions – Who Will WIN it All?

Guest performers for tonight include: The coach duets with the Top 5, Tori Kelly, Keke Palmer & The Top 13, Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande & Kid Cudi, Carrie Underwood & John Legend, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Lopez and Walker Hayes.

We’re live blogging all the RESULTS here.

Coldplay hits the stage first to sing “Universe.” Lead singer Chris Martin sings a duet with the K-Pop group BTS, who creepily appear and disappear on stage like apparitions. In other words, they aren’t actually in the studio, merely two dimentional holograms inserted on stage via tech. Weird.

Next, it’s a clip of Kelly Clarkson and Hailey Mia with Ed Sheeran during the Knockout mentor sessions. Lots of gushing about Mia being only 14 years old. “She’s like the cool aunt,” Mia says of Kelly. The clip precedes a duet between the two of “Funny” by Zedd and Jasmine Thompson. Hailey straightened her hair for the occasion. She needs a lecture from Tori Kelly. Heh. The song choice, with its bitter lyrics, is more about Kelly than young Hailey.

Next, a video clip is all about the unique friendship between Ariana Grande and Blake Shelton. The bit has Ariana auditioning for Blake’s “Come Back as a Country Boy” music video. Hijinks ensue. Carson takes a minute to thank Ariana for being such a great coach and person.

Now, Walker Hayes sings his viral hit “Fancy Like.” Hoo boy this song is annoying. ANNOYING. How is it the TikTok songs are often so irritating.

Next, in a video clip, Blake Shelton mocks John Legend for letting Paris Winningham go. Blake shares that he’s learned so much from Paris. And that they are both country and would “p*** off the porch.” They sing the O’Jays 70’s hit “Love Train” complete with Motown-style backup singers. It’s a fun performance.

Matthew McConaughey and Nick Kroll drop by to promote the upcoming movie Sing 2. Man, Universal is pimping that movie hard. They introduce Tori Kelly and Keke Palmer who sing “Christmas Baby Please Come Home.” The song is from the movie. And the Top 13 join them to sway in the background.

John Legend and Jershika Maple are next. Jershika straight up says John is a better coach than Kelly. Hoo boy! The two sing “O Holy Night” with John on piano. It’s a gorgeous and soulful rendition.

Now, Ed Sheeran takes the stage to perform. He’s a one man band on stage, looping beats. How two thousand and aughts of him. He performs “Shivers” from his latest album. Ed served as mega mentor during the Knockouts earlier this season.

Next, it’s a joke clip of Blake Shelton and Ariana Grande coming up with a new cologne–Night Time Camo. “You can pick up my scent, but you can’t see me! I’m on the hunt, but I’ve got you in my sights! The aroma that sneaks up on you! The only cologne that works as a cologne and an insect repellent!” Hardee har har.

The “one and only” Jennifer Lopez takes the stage to sing “On My Way” from her new movie Marry Me. Clips from the movie are superimposed upon the instruments on. Weird. Not as weird as the fake BTS that opened the show. The wind machine is going crazy. Obviously taped ahead.

Now, American Idol alum Carrie Underwood joins John Legend to sing their  duet “Hallelujah” from Carrie’s holiday album My Gift. This song, c0-written by John, is the best cut on the album.

Carson mentions that Girl Named Tom had four songs in the iTunes Top 10 today. They are the first The Voice artists to do that. Kelly jokes that she wants to be in their group. She calls them “GNTK.” They sing Jonas Brothers’ “Leave Before You Love Me” and, surprisingly, it’s a little wonky.

The winner and runner up will win a theme park vacation for two at Universal Park in either Hollywood or Orlando. (Do each of the members of Girl Named Tom get two tickets, or will they have to share?) Carson never mentions the Universal Record contract, or 100K prize money for the winner.

Next, it’s Wendy Moten and Blake Shelton. Blake declares himself Wendy’s new manager. He also calls her the easiest person he ever coached. ‘This girl paid her dues,” he says. He wants to make a movie about her. The two sing “Just a Fool” a duet originally between Blake and former The Voice coach Christina Aguilera. Wendy is spectacular, as usual.

Former The Voice coach Alicia Keys takes the stage to perform her latest single “Old Memories.”

Now, it’s a video clip where John Legend does a thing with Ed Helms and Randall Park They share ideas about creating an acapella group. hilarity ensues. Then Ed shows up in studio wearing his little a’cappella sweater to fire John from his a’cappella group. The new group is called “Everybody but John.” Oh. He’s pimping a new TV show True Story premiering soon on Peacock streaming.

Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi are next performing “Just Look Up” from the Adam McKay movie “Don’t Look Up” in which Ariana has a small part.

Kelly Clarkson loves the word “navigate” as in she “navigated” a singing competition before. The coaches make fun of her using that word a lot. So her video clip has Kelly promoting a new navigation app. A very confusing navigation app. And again, hilarity ensues.

FINALLY RESULTS.

After each of the finalists thank their respective coaches, Carson Daly announces the winner. The finalist in fifth place is…Jershika Maple. Good job, Jershika. In fourth place is…Hailey Mia! The finalist in 3rd place is…Paris Winningham! MY PREDICTIONS ARE COMING TRUE. Wendy Moten and Girl Named Tom are the Top 2.

After a break, Carson announces the winner. But first Kelly and Blake share words with their team members. The winner of The Voice 21 is…Girl Named Tom and their coach Kelly Clarkson! Wendy Moton and Blake Shelton take second place.

It’s Kelly Clarkson’s fourth win. Girl Named Tom is the first group to win The Voice! The results were not at all surprising. Week after week, Girl Named Tom, Wendy Moten and Paris Winningham occupied the one, two and three spots on my power list. Season 21 was definitely a Voice season where the eventual winner became obvious early on. Hailey Mia was a dark horse contestant that grew on viewers after she won the Playoffs Instant Save. Jershika Maple basically willed her way into the final. The Top 5 were terrific from top to bottom.

However. The Voice finale was as boring as ever. 115 minutes of performances, mostly outside recording artists promoting their singles. Or worse yet–Universal promoting this or that upcoming movie or television show. SNORE.  Having said that, Season 21 was full of entertaining talent. Having six weeks of live shows allowed the contestants to grow in the competition. If cutting back to once a year means a longer season for The Voice, that’s a good thing.

NBC aired a promo for American Song Contest. It will air live every week. The network has yet to name a host or any kind of judges panel. The European version has judges from all over the world. But the European version is a one week event. The American format will be tweaked in order to expand it into a series.

The Voice 21 Finale Results

5. Jershika Maple
4. Hailey Mia
3. Paris Winningham
2. Wendy Moton
1. Girl Named Tom – WINNER
