The LIVE shows kicked off on last night’s The Voice. Twenty four performances in two hours was a bit much! Maybe too much for viewers to properly absorb all that music. It will be interesting to see how the results shake out on tonight’s results show.

Favorite Playoffs Performance
I am a little surprised to see MacKenzie Thomas at the top of the list. Sure, she’s got the pipes. But her Whitney Houston impersonation didn’t seem like anything special. For me a good performance is more than just the ability to hit the notes. Having said that, MacKenzie could win me over if her song choices and arrangements show more creativity going forward. The rest seems reasonable. A few bottom-listers I liked: Zaxai, Funsho, Franc West and Colton Smith.

Prediction: Last night’s jammed packed night of music will probably result in some funky results. I think ya’ll chose pretty well. Although I think Kelly might save Abby Cates, even though she wasn’t at her best last night. Or Adam could make the off-the-wall decision to save Tyke James. He seems to REALLY like that dude, for some reason.
