In a video package, the finalists are surprised with news of their celebrity duet partners. Chris Blue is completely freaked out that he’s going to be singing with Usher.
But first, it’s Mark Isaiah from Team Adam perform with Latin pop artists Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. Mark shows off his command of the Espanol. There’s a dance party going down on stage. The name of the song “Despacito” flashes helpfully in lights.

Host Carson Daly introduces a video package devoted to how Blake Shelton has gone totally Hollywood. Blake is even drinking Kale smoothies. Blake starts the “Church of Sheltonology.” Even Gwen thinks he’s taken it too far.
OK. Next it’s Brennley Brown from Team Gwen and Rascal Flatts singing their latest single “Yours if You Want It.” Psssst…this performance was pre-recorded on Saturday.

After the break, Jesse Larson and his coach Adam Levine chat about their relationship in a video package. It’s a run up to Jesse and former The Voice coach Cee Lo Green performing the classic “Shining Star.” It’s funk time on The Voice finale. Sexy chick dancers join them on stage. Cee Lo looks like an Ostrich in a fringy white pantsuit. That was…something.

Next, Howie Mandel and Derek Hough are on hand to pimp their respective summer series, America’s Got Talent and World of Dance respectively. They premiere next Tuesday.
Alicia Keys is the puppet master in this next Video package. “When they don’t push their buttons…I like to get them involved.” Adam says, “I’m nobody’s puppet.” NO PUPPET NO PUPPET.
After, Lauren Duski from Team Blake and Little Big Town sing the Taylor Swift penned tune “Better Man.” It’s a good match up.
Gwen Stefani video is next. She brings her big red chair to dinner with Blake. And everywhere she goes. This is pretty dumb. And next, Gwen joins her team member Hunter Plake for a performance of “Don’t Speak.” Yep. It’s what the two would have performed if Hunter had made the finals. HUNTER WAS ROBBED YA’LL. This performance would have been a highlight of the night.
Next, it’s Zedd and Alessa Cara performing their hit single “Stay.”
Now, we learn all about Aliyah Moulden and her coach Blake Shelton. Aliyah teaches Blake a few tap dancing moves. He’s like an embarrassing dad. Ha.
And now, it’s all about Chris Blue and Alicia Keys. She loves Chris’ smile. “I wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for the musical genius…my coach Alicia Keys.” She calls Chris a “super humble soul.” Next, Chris and former The Voice coach Usher hope to lift spirits amid the terrible news of the last few days. They sing REM’s “Everybody Hurts.” This is the ballad we should have gotten last night! Just beautiful.

After the break country music singer/songwriter Chris Stapleton performs his gentle, acoustic single “Either Way.” So good. Country the way it should be.
The “always complex” Adam Levine is featured in the next video clip. Of course, the bit focuses on his love/hate relationship with Blake Shelton. Sometimes Adam is nice. Sometimes he’s not.
Now, TSoul from Team Blake and Vanessa Ferguson from Team Alicia join forces with the legendary Gladys Knight to sing “You’re the Best Thing to Ever Happen to Me/If I Were Your Woman. Man, Gladys can still song. Vanessa and Gladys have that same husky rasp going.

I’m kinda missing the “bring back” performances from the finalists, to be honest.
Carson “checks in” with the four finalists. He congratulates the singers for coming so far in The Voice. WOOO. They each win a BRAND NEW TOYOTA CARS. Man, last year’s Final Four were robbed. They won some crummy recording equipment. “I can’t even drive!” Aliyah exclaims.
Next, Miley Cyrus dedicates her performance of “Malibu” to Ariana Grande and all the people affected by the horrific bombing in Manchester last night. Miley will be back on the coaches panel this fall, along with Jennifer Hudson. “Alright I’m out of here now,” she says at the end (???)

The final The Voice Confessional video package follows, and it’s very earnest and heartfelt as each of the Final Four share what winning The Voice would mean to them.
After the break Alessia Carr and Aliyah Moulden perform “Scars to Your Beautiful.
In the next video package, we see the moment Laura Duski and Blake Shelton meet backstage. Blake is humorously self-effacing as he heaps praise on his team member.
Next it’s former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson (NOT MENTIONED OF COURSE) performing her single “Remember Me.” She sang this on The Voice UK too, where she was a coach earlier this year. She’s fierce in thigh-high boots.

HERE WE GO. The Four Finalists take center stage. RESULTS. Gotta go with one last round of Dumb Questions. The singers thank their coaches. The Finalist in fourth place is…Jesse Larson from Team Adam! The artist in 3rd place is…Aliyah Moulden from Team Blake.
We’ll find out the winner AFTER THE BREAK.
OK. Here we go. Carson says it was one of the closest voting results between two contestants EVER. The winner of The Voice is….Chris Blue! HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP! My predictions were garbage, but I’M NOT MAD!!!
