The Voice Season 12 Knockouts 2 – Take the Polls

The second night of The Voice season 12 knockouts were a little anti-climatic. The big steal of the episode was Blake Shelton hitting his button for the under-baked 14 year old Aaliyah Rose. Are the producers determined to keep the youngest singers in the competition?

Blake chose TSoul over Enid Ortiz. His performance was odd, but interesting. T mentioned he chose Blake because of his connection to country. In the lives, Blake should give him one of Ray Charles country songs. Or maybe a Willie Nelson tune. Song choices are going to be key for the quirky but talented Tsoul.

As far as who was robbed? I would have preferred Blake steal Dawson Coyle instead of Aaliyah. His performance was flawed, but emotional. He’s the kind of young singer who could grow with the right mentor.
