Check out the new key art for The Voice season 11. New coaches Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys will join veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on the panel.
Adam and Blake have been coaches for the show’s entire run so far. At the Television Critics Association Press Tour on Tuesday, NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt told Entertainment Tonight that the duo are keepers.
“If I can compare it to a scripted show, you kind of have your series regulars that you love. They are always hugely popular whenever we do testing and we’ve done a fair amount of that over 11 cycles,” Greenblatt explained. “We think they’re the pillars of the show and then we have this revolving family of Gwen [Stefani], Pharrell, now Miley and Alicia joining the pack.”
“We think the heart of it is those two guys and what they’ve built and their relationship and the surprise of the new people,” Greenblatt added.
The new season of The Voice officially begins on Monday September 19 on NBC, but fans will get a 30 minute sneak peek of the Blind Auditions at 10:30PM ET/PT on Sunday August 21 following the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics closing ceremony.
