Congratulations to the hardworking winner of The Voice season 7! Craig Wayne Boyd and his fiancée Taylor Borland welcomed a baby girl in Nashville on Thursday, Dec. 31.
Dakota Lynne Boyd arrived on her dad’s 37th birthday and was born at 5:37 p.m., weighing 5 lbs., 3 oz.
“It was the best birthday present I could have ever received,” gushed Craig to People magazine. The country singer is also dad to 3-year-old son Jaxon. “We are in love already and I am so grateful for our growing family. Dakota is beautiful just like her mom.”
The couple met at a holiday party in 2014 and announced their engagement in August.
