Girl Named Tom History Making The Voice Win is Joyous and Bittersweet

Girl Named Tom is the first act in the 21 seasons of The Voice to have four of their songs in the iTunes Top 10 at the same time. In addition, the group reached #1 twice on the main iTunes Top 200 chart with “River,” and “The Chain.”

Hits From the Road, the group’s self-titled album that was released in February, and is available to stream and download now, is currently #17 on the iTunes Top Albums chart, making them the first act in the show’s history to have songs also charting in the Top 200 from their own self-released album.

Girl Named Tom was the #1 most-viewed act on YouTube this season, with 8.9 million collective views.

Nostalgic tune brings back memories of white Christmases

“No Snow for Christmas” came to the group on Christmas Day, 2019 when the weather outside was anything but frightful,” the trio explains in the Youtube description. “With white Christmases apparently in the past, childhood memories of snowy holidays have grown even fonder.”

“In 2020, the trio collaborated with Mollie B & Ted Lange on their Virtual Mollie B Christmas Special. The 5 musicians ended up falling in love with their new vision of “No Snow for Christmas,” and decided to record it the very next day. Our hope is that this nostalgic and celebratory tune lifts your spirits even when the snow doesn’t fall!”
