SNL alum Andy Samberg, star of the mockumentary Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, stayed completely in character as self-absorbed pop star, “Conner4real” during his guest appearance on The Voice Tuesday night.
Directed by Judd Apatow, the movie is kind of a Spinal Tap for the modern age, with Samberg playing a self-absorbed teen pop star, suspiciously Justin Bieber-like, being followed around by a camera crew as he faces a crisis in popularity after his sophomore album flops.
The film is full of celebrity cameos, including Adam Levine who joined “Conner4real” on stage to perform “I’m So Humble.” The point is, of course, that’s he’s actually an assclown douchenozzle and not humble at all. Har har.
Conner4Real’s appearance included a mentoring session with the Top 9, who were all game to play along with the conceit. There are some pretty funny bits here.

Fun Fact: Simon Cowell and Carrie Underwood also have cameos in the film. Watch Andy Samberg and Adam Levine perform “I’m So Humble” right here.
