OMG Pharrell and that song choice for Evan.  Why aren’t you giving him contemporary songs? And Evan, you should be speaking up. He’s a fine vocalist, but he needs better songs, stat.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the songs for Madi and Jeffery. They both have the opportunity to SLAY.

Super odd song choice for Barrett. I’m wondering if Blake isn’t bussing him a bit in favor of the more marketable (but less talented) singer, Zach, who has a familiar, contemporary tune.

It’s time for Braiden to go home. That is all. Also, Gwen giving Korin an insipid Mandy Moore song from the early aughts–yikes.  If it weren’t for Jeffery, who knows what he’s doing, her team would be a disaster.

Once again, Emily Ann has the right song, and she sounds beautiful on the recording. It remains to be seen if she can find her confidence on stage.

Blank Space is kind of a bland song choice for Amy.  Great song choice for Shelby, who has the opportunity to soar with You and I.

Who You Are dovetails perfectly with Jordan Smith’s backstory as an outlier and a misfit. It also gives him the chance to hit more big notes. I see another iTunes Top 10 in his future.
