What the hell is it with Gwen Stefani and Bread songs? First Season 7’s Taylor John Williams sang “If” and now Braiden Sunshine is singing “Everything I Own.” Not good.
Really? We’re already trotting out Adele’s “Hello” before she has the opportunity to sing it live in the US? TOO SOON TOO SOON. And kinda wasted an Regina Love, who probably won’t make it deep into the competition.
Viktor Kiraly’s song choice is A+
Blaine Mitchell singing INXS after Adam went on and on with the Michael Hutchence comparisons. Maybe a little too on the nose? He’ll be accused of sounding karaoke. Not that he had much of a chance to advance to the finals, in any case.
I’m perfectly happy with the return of Chance Pena to the competition. Good luck to him tonight.
