The Voice 8 Top 5 iTunes Rankings (as of Noon)
What is there to say about the super-human hidden inside the body of a sweet freshed-faced boy named Sawyer Fredericks? Once again, he SLAYS the iTunes charts. TWO songs in the top 10 giving him the iTunes 10x bonus, guarantee him a spot in the finals and likely the win. The iTunes votes will count cumulatively this cycle. Which means EVERY iTune vote from the live shows will count as a vote tomorrow night. How can the boy lose? I expect Meghan Linsey to take 2nd place. She’s been gaining on Sawyer the last couple of weeks. But there’s no way to overtake his incredible momentum at this point.
Nearly every song entered the iTunes Top 50, except for Koryn, who scored a real dud with “One.” Not with me! Koryn was my favorite last night.
2. Sawyer Fredericks – A Thousand Years
3. Sawyer Fredericks – For What It’s Worth
5. Meghan Linsey – Tennessee Whiskey
11.Joshua Davis – I Can’t Make You Love Me
21.Meghan Linsey – I’m Not the Only One
23. Koryn Hawthorne – Oh Mary Don’t You Weep
29. India Carney – Earth Song
34. Joshua Davis – When I Paint My Masterpiece
38. India Carney – Gravity
54. Koryn Hawthorne – One
The Voice 8 – Top 5 – Favorite Performance
Yup. Sawyer slays again! Ya’all loved India and her wind machine. Koryn and Meghan are right behind her. Oh. Koryn’s One wasn’t exactly a hit, to say the least.
- Sawyer Fredericks – A Thousand Years 22.69%
- Sawyer Fredericks – For What It’s Worth 16.32%
- India Carney – Earth Song 14.12%
- Koryn Hawthorne – Oh Mary Don’t You Weep 13.08%
- Meghan Linsey – Tennessee Whiskey 12.85%
- India Carney – Gravity 7.52%
- Joshua Davis – I Can’t Make You Love 7.41%
- Meghan Linsey – I’m Not the Only One 3.01%
- Joshua Davis – When I Paint My Masterpiece 1.62%
- Koryn Hawthorne – One 1.38%
The Voice 8 – Top 5 – Favorite Contestant
With 40% of the vote, Sawyer is the clear favorite. Can we just hand him the trophy? Next week’s finale will serve as a formality leading up to the inevitable crowing of Sawyer. Then, he’ll rip off his clothes to reveal tights and a cape before he flies dramatically out of the studio.
- Sawyer Fredericks – Team Pharrell 43.76%
- India Carney – Team Christina 18.29%
- Meghan Linsey – Team Blake 14.71%
- Koryn Hawthorne – Team Pharrell 14.71%
- Joshua Davis – Team Adam 8.53%
The Voice 8 – Top 5 – Who SHOULD go Home
Joshua Davis and India Carney are running neck and neck for who SHOULD go home. India’s “Gravity” was one of her best. But I think she’ll be leaving the competition this week on a high note.
- Joshua Davis – Team Adam 34.53%
- India Carney – Team Christina 33.12%
- Koryn Hawthorne – Team Pharrell 14.63%
- Meghan Linsey – Team Blake 11.42%
- Sawyer Fredericks – Team Pharrell 6.29%
The Voice 8 – Top 5 – Who WILL go Home
And it appears ya’ll agree with me. Except, I think Koryn will join India in the bottom 2.
- India Carney – Team Christina 56.07%
- Joshua Davis – Team Adam 22.03%
- Koryn Hawthorne – Team Pharrell 16.49%
- Meghan Linsey – Team Blake 3.69%
- Sawyer Fredericks – Team Pharrell 1.72%
Prediction: India Carney and Koryn Hawthorne face off for the twitter save. Joshua had a 50/50 night song wise, but I think his Bonnie Raitt cover was popular enough to keep him safe. Koryn will deliver an incredibly emotional performance in the sing-off and will prevail. India Carney will be eliminated.
