Meet your new The Voice 7 coaches, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell! In this new The Voice 7 preview, we see the latest configuration of the panel in action.  Additionally, we get a few glimpses of the talent the coaches will be trying to lure on to their teams.

The Voice 7: Alicia Keys Set as Adviser for Team Pharrell
The Voice 7: Little Big Town Set as Blake Shelton Advisers
The Voice 7: Gavin Rossdale To Be Gwen Stefani Team Adviser
Stevie Nicks Joins The Voice 7 as Adam Levine Adviser

The two new coaches join stalwarts, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who have appeared on every panel since the show premiered in the spring of 2011.

It appears that Gwen and Pharrell got comfortable pretty quickly. The newest The Voice catch phrase? “I know what to do with that voice!”  Blake and Adam grumble that Gwen and Pharrell are really nice. Maybe TOO nice. “They’re going to fight each other with rainbows and happiness,” snarks Adam.

There are also a couple of glimpses of the new contestants.  One singer is an 0ld-style belter, and the other a blue-eyed soul singer.

The Voice 7 premieres on Monday September 22. Only 1 month away!

  1. It looks like the producers got the chemistry right again. Should be fun.

  2. Really excited for the new panel. I wish Blake and Adam would take a break. It’s not that I don’t like them in general, but there shtick is getting old.

  3. Wow Pharrell and Gwen are gonna sell lots of albums. Pharrell’s album is only Gold now. This show will definitely make it go Platinum.

  4. I saw that girl who auditioned in Season 4 (?) and who sang No Woman No Cry but didn’t get a chair to turn… It seems she’ll be a Season 7 contestant, the way she’s talking seems like she got a chair.

  5. I’m excited to see G&P on the panel. I just wish the contestants did better post show. Some of them just seem to disappear into the night and they are so enjoyable on the show.

  6. Heh. That will be the more interesting thing to observe, IMO. Watch the two new judge/mentors career improvement curve from exposure on the show. Somebody, take a bench mark and see what happens next?

  7. OK. I guess MJ can always remove them if it breaks her rules.
