The Voice 7 Battle Rounds begin TONIGHT on NBC 8/7c PM!
Check out this preview of Maiya Sykes facing off against Elyjuh Rene in a Team Pharrell battle of the Alicia Keys hit, “If I Ain’t Got You.”
Making the process even more nerve wracking for 18 year old Elyjuh and the more experienced singer, Maiya–Alicia is Pharrell’s team adviser! She sat down with the coach and the singers in rehearsal to help shape the performance. I imagine besides being scary, it was also a thrill to be guided through the process by the singer who made the song such a massive hit.
