Thanks to CBS’s top rated comedy, The Big Bang Theory, NBC was able to bring a little extra buzz to The Voice season 5.
Briana Cuoco, sister of the Big Bang Theory star, Kaley Cuoco, is a singer trying to break into the biz and she’ll have you know that her sister’s fame and connections aren’t going to necessarily help her career.
Well, except for that personal invite extended to you from the show, via personal delivery by Carson Daley? Would the show be that interested if Kaley hadn’t been willing to take part in the video package? Hey! I’m all for networking and taking advantage of connections, but don’t pretend as if it doesn’t matter.
Those connections were in full force when Briana guest starred on her sister’s show.
Maybe Briana was having an off night or was nervous. Her performance of Lady Gaga’s “You and I” was pitchy and her timing was off. The coaches have certainly turned down better singers. I think Christina got the memo to pay attention to this one.
