The Voice 27 Finale Top 5 Ranked Power List
After three months, Season 27 of The Voice has dwindled down to its Top 5. Ahead of Monday’s live performances from Jadyn Cree, Adam David, Lucia Flores-Wiseman, Jaelen Johnston and RENZO, let’s take a look back at where each artist started and what led them to their place in the finale.
The Voice 27 Reveals Live Show Format, Special Finale Guest Stars
5. Jaelen Johnston – Team Kelsea
Jaelen Johnston has been a classic country crooner from the second he hit The Voice stage. He was a three-chair turn, getting the attention of Adam Levine, Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini with his rendition of “Where the Wild Things Are” by Luke Combs.
After joining Team Kelsea, Johnston earned his spot in the Top 5 with a performance of “I Drive Your Truck” by Lee Brice that hit close to home, dedicating it to his late teenage cousin. While this one didn’t need to leave chairs turned, it did not leave a dry eye in the house.
4. Adam David – Team Bublé
Adam David was said to have snagged the spotlight during his Blind Audition when he went from swoony singer to bluesy balladeer with his rendition of “Baby, I Love Your Way” by Peter Frampton. Somehow, David only earned a chair turn from Michael, instantly joining Team Bublé.
A last-chance performance of “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims allowed the singer to lend his unique voice to a hit song and once again snag him a spot, this time in the Top 5.
3. Lucia Flores-Wiseman – Team Adam
Lucia Flores-Wiseman has arguably the most unique voice this season, with something unexpected always coming out of her mouth. Instantly a four-chair turn, Flores-Wiseman’s take on “La Llorona” by Carmen Goett allowed her pick of coaches.
After choosing Team Adam, the singer flew through each round until landing a spot in the Top 5 thanks to a captivating performance of “Black Hole Sun” by Soundgarden.
2. RENZO – Team Legend
RENZO proved that when it comes to singing, he is indeed a simple man. With just an acoustic guitar and his silky smooth voice, he earned chair turns from Michael, Adam, and John Legend for his Blind Audition of “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Fun fact: RENZO competed on American Idol 16 in 2018. He left the competition at the Top 10.
Thanks to John blocking Adam, RENZO inevitably joined Team Legend, where he secured his spot in the Top 5 by showing a different side of himself and his vocal range. RENZO took on “Dream On” by Aerosmith during the semi-finals and was as on fire as the flames behind him.
1. Jadyn Cree – Team Michael Bublé
Jadyn Cree has soared through this entire competition, and it runs in the family. The daughter of Season 25 finalist Bryan Olesen, Cree showed the coaches she’s a punk rock gal who can take on any song thrown at her.
After joining Team Buble, Cree made her mark with 80s hits like “99 Red Balloons” by Nena, and the song that sent her to the finale, “I Think We’re Alone Now” by Tommy James and The Shondells, later made notable by Tiffany.
The Voice performance finale airs on NBC Monday, May 19 at 8 pm ET/PT, followed by the 2-hour finale on Tuesday, May 20 at 9 pm ET/PT where a winner will be crowned. Steams on Peacock next day
