The Voice season 21 continues with LIVE shows. On Monday (Nov 15), the Top 13 performed for viewer votes (Read our Recap). Tomorrow night (Nov 16), 10 acts will be declared safe. Then, the bottom 3 vote getters will perform for the Instant Save wildcard. Eleven acts will move on to next week’s competition.
What a GREAT night of performances! There were many standouts, including Girl Named Tom and their exquisite harmonies, powerhouse gospel performances from Gymani, and Jershika Maple, Wendy Moten’s soulful take on a Linda Ronstadt classic, Paris Winningham’s slick, yet powerful rendition of a Marvin Gaye statement song, Joshua Vacanti’s big Broadway moment with a Dear Evan Hansen number.
The only week performance came from Jim & Sasha Allen, whose vocals and stage presence need work. But I have a feeling the duo will be sticking around for another week. Shadale was vocally terrific, but I don’t think she did herself any favors by “rocking out” with Rascal Flatts.
The artists chose their own songs this week, and other than Shadale, the singers picked songs that highlighted their strengths.
So what do you think? Vote in our POLLS. Look for PREDICTIONS tomorrow afternoon.
