The Voice season 21 Battles end tonight (Oct 19) before the competition moves on to the Knockouts next week. Check out a preview of KCK3 and Ryleigh Plank fighting for a spot on Team Ariana Grande.
The young sibling trio and Ryleigh perform Christina Aguilera’s song “Come On Over Baby (All I Want is You) for Ariana and her fellow coaches, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.
“Wasn’t that fun,” says John. He loved watching KCK3 enjoying themselves together as a family. But he calls Ryleigh a “revelation,” and her physical energy “so captivating.” He adds, “Your body is so elastic, the way it moves!”
Kelly compliments the singers for tackling a “big song.” She loved the sister harmonies of KCK3, and that they each had their moment. She also notes Ryleigh’s energy and enthusiasm. “Literally, you are a light on that stage,” she says.
Blake points out differences between the artists. “Ryleigh attacks this moment, it’s in her body language, and they way she performs. She just owns the moment.”
For her part, Ariana is “endlessly proud” of both acts. She says, “I feel like there were some energy imbalances in the beginning, and we worked through it in such a way where everybody truly was able to shine.” She calls the day “perfect.”
