The Voice 2022 Semi-Final Predictions

The Voice Semi-Final RESULTS show airs tonight (Dec 6). At the end of the episode, The Voice season 22 Top 5 finalists heading to next week’s finale will be revealed. Here are our The Voice 2022 Semi-final Predictions and poll results.

The Voice 22 Recap: Top 8 Semi-Final Performances

Here is how it will work: The Top 4 artists will be revealed as safe by America’s vote while the bottom four compete in the Instant Save. America votes, and the winner of the save will round out the Top 5.

The Voice 2022 Semi-Final Predictions and Poll Results

Readers have been voting in our POLLS since last night. Let’s see your results, and then I’ll make a prediction.

Favorite Semi-Final Solo Performance

Bodie in the No. 1 spot? I smell a brigade! The pop singer is talented and popular, but he didn’t perform at his best last night. His No. 1 position illustrated that he has dedicated fans. Morgan Myles placed very close behind him with her show stopping Gaga cover. That makes more sense! And next is Kim Cruse who was very very good last night.

  1. Bodie – Without Me by Halsey – Team Blake – 30.71%
  2. Morgan Myles – Always Remember Us This Way by Lady Gaga – 29.95%
  3. Kim Cruse – Summertime by Billie Holiday – Team Legend – 12.56%
  4. Bryce Leatherwood – If Heaven Wasn’t so Far Away by Justin Moore – 8.32%
  5. Omar Jose Cardona -My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion – 6.05%
  6. Parijita Bastola – Unstoppable by Sia – 4.39%
  7. Brayden Lape – In Case You Didn’t Know by Brett Young – 4.24%
  8. Justin Aaron – Stand Up by Cynthia Erivo – 3.78%

Favorite Semi-Final Duet Performance

Last night’s Whitney Houston duets were a mixed bag! The rankings are probably based on the popularity of the singers.

  1. Morgan Myles and Bryce Leatherwood – Saving All My Love for You – 29.60%
  2. Bodie and Brayden Lape – I Wanna Dance with Somebody – 25.87%
  3. Justin Aaron and Omar Jose Cardona – Greatest Love of All  – 24.24%
  4. Kim Cruse and Parijita Bastola – I’m Every Woman – 20.28%

Which 3 Contestants SHOULD go home

Voters placed the two country singers as the No. 1 and 2 contestants who SHOULD go home, knowing full well at least one of the singers will advance to next week’s finale. The “will” go home poll is reasonable. My thinking on Bryce Leatherwood has changed. Dang, if that Blake Shelton doesn’t know how to get a fav across the finish line! Brayden could also advance, so brace yourselves for that possibility.

  1. Brayden Lape – Team Blake – 21.47%
  2. Bryce Leatherwood – Team Blake – 17.90%
  3. Parijita Bastola – Team Legend – 16.34%
  4. Omar Jose Cardona – Team Legend – 14.41%
  5. Kim Cruse – Team Legend – 12.26%
  6. Justin Aaron – Team Gwen – 11.07%
  7. Bodie – Team Blake – 3.71%
  8. Morgan Myles – Team Camila – 2.82%

Which 3 Contestants WILL go home

  1. Parijita Bastola – Team Legend  – 21.24%
  2. Kim Cruse – Team Legend – 19.76%
  3. Brayden Lape – Team Blake – 17.75%
  4. Justin Aaron – Team Gwen – 13.84%
  5. Bryce Leatherwood – Team Blake – 12.36%
  6. Omar Jose Cardona – Team Legend – 10.88%
  7. Morgan Myles – Team Camila – 2.44%
  8. Bodie – Team Blake – 1.74%

Prediction

As I mentioned above, my thinking has changed on Bryce Leatherwood. Remember that America voted Brayden into the Live shows but not Bryce! The latter had a connection problem, which Blake helped him overcome by helping him choose emotional songs that audiences love. Brayden Lape on the other hand has showed himself to be a flawed singer. But he is so open, sweet and likable, he could STILL advance to the finale, maybe at the expense of Justin Aaron.

Brodie, Morgan Myles, Omar Jose Cardona, Bryce Leatherwood and Justin Aaron will advance to the final. But Brayden Lape could be a spoiler!
