The Battle Advisors for The Voice season 19 will be announced on Monday (Oct 5). How do we know this? The coaches are currently playing a little guessing game with their fans on Instagram Stories. And according to the clues, coach Kelly Clarkson is set to work with soul artist, Leon Bridges.

“This season, I actually want you all to guess who my Battle Advisor is,” said Kelly, adding. “I’m actually very excited, I freaked out!”

Kelly explained the two part quiz:

“I’m going to give you two clues, no more no less,” teased Kelly.” Clue number one is a multiple choice option,” Kelly instructed. “Don’t just choose C, cause you think that’s going to get you past the test. You won’t, you’ll fail!”

Next, Kelly reveals a list of artists whom her advisor has collaborated with…except for one! “Can you all guess who?” The list of artists is: Luke Combs, John Mayer, Noah Cyrus and Alicia Keys. Kelly made her fans wait another day before revealing the second and final part of the quiz.

In part 2, Kelly’s advisor sang a short snip of Leon Bridges’ “Shy.” And that was the dead giveaway. Because Kelly Clarkson’s mentor on The Voice season 19 is obviously….Leon Bridges! Leon collaborated with Luke Combs, John Mayer and Noah Cyrus, but NOT Alicia Keys.
