The BATTLES continue as six more pairs fight for a spot on their respective teams on tonight’s (Nov 10) one hour The Voice.

The Voice 19 Battle Rounds 2 Spoilers: Matchups and Song Choices

In this new preview, Desz and Joseph Soul put their soul spin on the 1972 classic “If You Don’t Know Me by Now” by Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes for a spot on Team Kelly Clarkson.  Younger peeps may be familiar with the cover from Simply Red released in 1989.

The coaches are impressed with both vocalists, although Desz appears to be their favorite.

Blake Shelton says the power of Desz’s voice fills the room, but doesn’t count out Joseph. His voice may be softer, but he knows how to use it, he observes.

John Legend really wanted Desz on his team. “You just continue to show us what a gifted vocalist you are,” he says. Calling Joseph a “gentle giant,” John notes the singer’s soulful, floating quality. Still, he would choose Desz.

Gwen compliments Desz’s “power and confidence.” And although her singing was “effortless” Gwen was still drawn to Joseph’s voice, which she calls “beautiful.”

Kelly calls Joseph “an angel that sings R&B” and Desz a “warrior vocalist.” But who will she choose? Tune into NBC at 8 pm ET/PT to find out.
