The Voice season 18 Top 9 performed for your votes in Monday’s semi-final. FIVE artists will advance to next week’s semifinal. But there is a twist! The highest vote getting artist from each team will advance to the final. The remaining singers will compete for the fifth wildcard spot. Each team will be represented in the final.
The Voice Top 5 could end up with mostly men. CammWess (Team Legend), Thunderstorm Artis (Team Nick) and Todd Tilghman (Team Blake) are shoe ins. And actually, they probably would be in a straight up vote as well. But let’s say the Top 4 vote getters overall advanced. Toneisha Harris probably would have made the cut. Or maybe even Joanna Serenko! Megan Danielle and Micah Iverson and the rest would have battled for the wild card. Kelly’s team may have been shut out of the final completely based on a straight vote plus a wildcard.
Cam, Thunderbird and Toneisha delivered the strongest performances tonight. Joanna gets an honorable mention. Megan, Zan Fiscum, Allegra Miles and Micah Iverson have had stronger nights.
