American Idol 2020 Top 5 SPOILERS
With American Idol airing at home episodes, that means there are no live results. In other words, WE HAVE SPOILERS. Yes. We have Top 5 spoilers for Sunday’s finale via the Idol Pad. Already!
An All-Guy American Idol Top 5 – Almost!
An all male Top 5 would not have been shocking. The producers stuffed the Top 40/20 with big voiced female divas and NONE of them survived to the Top 10. The judges had to save Makayla Phillips. Note: I consider Just Sam to be a soul singer. She doesn’t do the big runs.
Out of all the guys, I would have pegged Louis Knight the one to be eliminated. He’s the least distinctive of the remaining men. Actually, up until last week, I would have had Dillon James in the bottom with Louis. But he managed to redeem himself. Although, I would have swapped out Julia for him. Oh well. At least Julia made it to the semi-finals.
It’s Pretty Early in the Week for American Idol Spoilers…
One more thing. It’s only Monday. There is NO WAY production has even begun taping performances yet. So I’m a little nervous about posting spoilers so early. Surely, Julia and Louis know of their elimination, right? I’m thinking that production taped results today and will air at the Top of the show. Because voting can’t start until fans know who to vote for. Ryan Seacrest will crown the winner at the end of the broadcast.
American Idol 2020 Finale – Guest Stars, Format, Returning Alums!
The episode will probably go like this: Immediate eliminations. The Idols perform; a bunch of guest performances follow, including Luke Bryan and Katy Perry; Lionel Richie and the Idol alums perform “We Are the World”; Ryan announced the winner of American Idol LIVE at show’s end. Taping the results on Monday, the eliminated singers don’t need to spend time preparing songs.
