Wondering what Sunday’s The Voice season 11 preview will include?

According to Entertainment Weekly, which has the exclusive, veterans Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and newbies Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys will join forces for a rousing performance of Aerosmith’s “Dream On.”

I wonder which singer will attempt to tackle the high note?

The 30 minute preview airs after the 2016 Rio Olympic closing ceremony, at 10:30 ET/PT on Sunday August 21. The special presentation will also include Blind Auditions from the upcoming season which premieres officially on September 19 8 PM ET/PT.

Commenters here were speculating about how the producers will choose the Blind Auditions to showcase, considering only the Battle Rounds will be completed. The Knockout rounds, which determine the Top 20 or so for the live shows, don’t take place until the following week.

My thoughts: The preview will focus mostly on the coaches, with maybe two blind auditions, tops. And I bet the chosen auditions will feature the new coaches doing their thing, rather than singers mostly likely to advance. Alicia duetting with a hopeful? Miley flirting with besotted singer? Or duking it out with Adam Levine over a particularly talented artist? What do you think?

Adam Levine told Entertainment Tonight during a mentoring session with adviser Sammy Hagar that “Alicia’s is the strongest team, mine is probably a not-so-distant second.” Bragging further, “Blake is always the weakest team. … It’s not so much his team, it’s just him.”

“They’re a little disturbed sometimes, a little shocked,” Adam added about the new coaches. “Especially with the stuff you don’t see. There is some pretty inappropriate material that gets made that’s probably in some sort of vault ready at any time to blackmail us. … It [wouldn’t be] a made-for-TV blooper reel, it’s more of an HBO blooper real. A lot of f**ks and s**ts.”
