The Voice season 11 premiere ratings slipped a 10th from the spring cycle–3.4 in the 18-49 demo (13.33 million viewers) to a 3.3 (11.12 million viewers). There could be an uptick in the afternoon final update, so watch for that. A year ago, the fall cycle garnered a 3.5 in the demo and an average of 12.35 million viewers.

Interestingly, The Big Bang Theory (3.6) led the night, but was down more than a full point in adults 18-49 vs. last year’s premiere (4.7). It appears that BBT is moving past its prime.

Dancing With the Stars dropped 4/10ths from its premiere to a 1.7 in the demo. To be expected–DWTS faced much stiffer competition this week.
