Los Angeles transplant and Maroon 5 lover Mike Schiavo lives his dreams during his blind audition on Monday’s season premiere – a duet with his idol, Coach Adam Levine!
The singer got coaches Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine to turn their chairs for a performance of “Talking Body” by Tove Lo. When Mike mentioned he grew up listening to Adam’s band, the panel, including Christina Aguilera, urged the coach to take the stage for a little duet.
Other than Adam suggesting a few guitar chords to Mike, their duet of “She Will Be Loved” goes off without a hitch. The hopeful has obviously performed the song before.
Afterward there is the usual fierce battle for the singer’s attention. But if Mike doesn’t choose Adam after all of that? Burn!
