The Masked Singer premiered with spectacular ratings. The singing show kicked off season 2 with a 2.5 rating in the key 8-49 demo and 7.9 million viewers. It beat the rest of the night’s shows by more than one whole point in the key demo. It also garnered the night’s largest audience.
However, The Masked Singer is down from the 3.0 rating that the show’s series premiere scored back in January. But I doubt FOX is complaining. They must be happy to once again be broadcasting the most popular singing show on network TV.
CBS’ Survivor 90 minute premiere came in second, scoring a 1.3 rating in the key demo and 6.29 million viewers. It’s down 4/10ths of a point from its fall premiere last year.
