The Masked Singer 14: Who Was Unmasked on Ozzfest night?

Last week, Snowcone, aka reality star Heidi Montague, left the competition on Spice Girls night. Now, Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, High Voltage and Pangolin sing for a spot in the next round. One will leave the competition after the contestants sing songs honoring the late Ozzy Osbourne on Ozzfest Night!

Former The Masked Singer contestant, Lady Bug, and Ozzy’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne sits on the panel alongside Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Rita Ora. Nick Cannon hosts.

The show opens with a group number as the four contestants sing “Crazy Train.”

High Voltage

Clues: He grew up listening to Ozzy. He had his own band of brothers. Jam is a clue. He left his group and went out on his own. He crushed it.

Performance: Paranoid by Black Sabbath – Kelly gets to hear celebrities butcher her dad’s songs. Ha ha. Actually, this rendition isn’t half bad. It’s a little bland, but it could be worse. Guitar smashing ends the performance. Clues arrive via “Crazy Train.” “Bandwagon” is the onstage crew. “Some people jumped on to the bandwagon.” Ken guesses Billie Joe Armstrong. BOO says the audience. Rita guesses John Resnick (Goo Goo Dolls), Kelly guesses Tim Allen.

Galaxy Girl

Clues: Her first concert was Lilith fair. She was lost in the background. She kept her singing secret. She was nervous to sing, but she was good.

Performance: Drive by Incubus – Her singing is OK. She sounds kind of loungy, which isn’t the right vibe for this song. On Stage Clue: “Halo.” She says, “In my lifetime I earned a halo.” Kelly guesses Ashley Simpson. She is sure she’s right! Then, Kelly’s phone rings. It’s her “husband-to-be.” Kelly guesses Kate Hudson (NO). Ken guesses Gwen Stefani. He’s ridiculous.

Eggplant

Clues: Ozzy inspires him. He knows how to rock too. He got a little too wild. But he’s mellowed out these days.

Performance: One Step Closer by Linkin Park – As it turns out, Eggplant does NOT ROCK! He’s pretty lame attempting this nu-metal classic from the 90s. The song is obviously not in his wheelhouse. On Stage Clue: “Classic guitar.” He’s played plenty of them. He has a guitar named after him. Jenny guesses Kevin Cronin. He can actually sing. Ken guesses Rick Springfield. NOOOO. He can also sing. Kelly guesses Richie Sambora or Alice Cooper. Not Alice.

Pangolin

Clues: She’s a wildcard and had to learn to stick up for herself. She lived in a van at one point. Tip jar. 1,000. She tells Kelly that “you are not alone.’

Performance: Mama I’m Coming Home by Ozzy Osbourne. She’s the best singer in this group. Her tone is really pretty, plus she’s got a strong upper register. Kelly is very moved. On Stage Clue: “Diamond” She has hit plenty of milestones, but this one shimmered.” Jenny guesses Christina Perri. Kelly guesses Vanessa Carlton. Robin guesses Michelle Branch.

First Results

The audience and panel vote. The top two vote getters advance. The bottom two sing off. The two performers who are SAFE and MOVING ON are Pangolin and Galaxy Girl.

Now, it’s the Ozzfest Royale. The two sing Iron Man by Black Sabbath. Eggplant sings with a fake English accent. He still sucks. High Voltage is better, for sure. Still with the fake accent though? The judges panel will pick the winner!

And leaving the Masked Singer…

The winner of the Ozzfest Royale is…High Voltage! Eggplant leaves the competition and will be unmasked. Final guesses Jenny: Kevin Cronin. Ken: Rick Springfield. Rita: Nathan Lane. Robin: Kenny Loggins. Kelly: Alice Cooper.

And Eggplant is Soap Opera star, Jack Wagner. CLOSE KEN. VERY CLOSE. Jack was also on General Hospital and he also sang. He was also on Melrose Place. Jack loved playing Eggplant. Sharon Osbourne did a scene with Jack on the Bold and the Beautiful. Jack sings out with “Rocket Man.”
