Our judges, Nigel, Paula, and Jason have picked the kids to move on to the Dance Academy. Maddie Ziegler is joining the panel. There are also 10 All-Stars.
Warren Carlyle, Tabitha and Napoleon, and Travis Wall will choreo. The All-Stars pick who advances and who gets cut.
For the first round, it’s solos, and they have to get a vote from at least one All-Star. There are 10. That can’t be hard. At the end of the day, each person needs to choose five. Then they narrow it down to one.
Tate- Contemporary
Katy from Canada is back. Also, Katy from America’s Got Talent, apparently. her solo is breathtaking again. The All-Stars go crazy for her. They’ll be fighting over her.
Emma- Tap
She’s the girl who danced to a Paula Abdul song. Her turns are spectacular. The All-Stars seem very receptive to her.

Jeramy and Stella-Ballroom
They almost did’t put Jeramy through, an they both had to fight to even get to this point. Jeramy isn’t as good as Stella here, and honestly, that wasn’t hard choreo. I think they both might get cut.
Each All-Star has to pick at least 3 in their style. They can pick two out of their style if they want. If more than one judge picks them, they can pick which All-Star they want to study with. – Click to Watch the Round 1 VIDEOS
Katherine, Robert, and Sasha pick first.
Tate-
Both Sasha and Katherine wanted Tate. Sasha says Tate is a storyteller, and Sasha likes to tell stories too. Katherine stands and says she’s phenomenal. Tate picks Katherine.
Sage
We see his amazing solo. This kid is fierce. Robert was the only one who picked him.
Ava or Jordyn
The girl who cried about being too tall. Jordyn doesn’t have a room. She sleeps in the living room. Jordyn makes Sasha’s team. Ava now has to wait to be chosen out of her style. – Click to Watch Contemporary All Stars Fill Their Teams VIDEO
Jake-
Barely got a ticket in New York. He had a lot to prove. He’s bringing it in his solo. He falls down the stairs, but he’s fine. He’s on team Jenna. Jake asks her if she has a boyfriend. Jake says he’s single.
Ruby
She auditioned with her dad. Both Paul and Jonathan want her. I’m sure she’s struggling to remember who these two are. She wants both of them. She picks Paul.
Kida
His solo was OK. Both Fikshun and Joshua want him. Fikshun says “together we can take over the world”, Joshua says he has a wide spectrum of dance. Kida picks Fikshun.
Phoenix
Danced with Cyrus on the finale. Was the inspiration for the show. She nailed her solo. She’s the last one to join Team Comfort. – Click to Watch the All Stars Round Out their Teams VIDEO
That means Ava is cut, Stella and Jeremy were cut, as were many others.

Team Robert and Team Paul are up first.
Ruby and Sage-
Ruby is outdancing Sage, but Sage is giving a valiant effort.
The rest of the two teams go. One boy really struggled.
Final couple is Shelly and JT
JT struggled picking up choreo. He forgets the choreo halfway through for a minute, but finishes in the end. He goes offstage and cries.
Team Paul and Team Robert have to cut someone from each team.
Paul didn’t really like Shelly and Lera, but keeps Shelly. Lera is cut.
Robert calls JT and Enoch forward. He hammers JT for forgetting the choreo. And we’re off to commercial. LOL. After the commercial, Robert keeps JT and cuts Enoch. – Watch Choreo Round #1 VIDEO
More kids dance. Tehani, Joshua, Phoenix, Jordyn, and some others. The All-Stars make their cuts.
Fikshun struggles to connect with Jeryan, who struggled during choreo. He told Jeryan to smile and have fun. Jeryan hits the stage, and isn’t having fun. He’s performing with Victoria. He’s pretty bad. He stops dancing and just starts doing some hip hop and walks off stage. Fikshun tells him that he can’t give up on himself, he has to believe in himself. Fikshun ends up cutting Jeryan. Jeryan cries, and says he gets bullied at school. One of the other kids from Team Fikshun hugs him. Fikshun says we don’t bully in dance, it’s about love support and having fun. Fikshun gives him a hug. A bunch of the dancers meet him after to console him. – Click to Watch Choreo Round 2 VIDEO
