About 5 weeks after the official announcement that they’ve signed with Arista Nashville, Season 4 Voice 2nd runner-ups The Swon Brothers are set to debut a new tune called “Later On” tomorrow on The Voice. The song will also be available digitally on 12/10, according to Amazon, and you can check out a 30 second clip of the song now! “Later On” is cowritten by Ryan Hurd, Joey Hyde, and Justin Wilson.

UPDATE: Here’s a full stream of the tune. It’s a country/rock tune with actual country touches, fitting the bro country mold with a mention of moonlight, a girl sliding over to get closer, getting drinks, but not offensively so. Solid melody, not very original, but it suits their style fine.

The Swon Brothers have also cut a song called “Pray For You,” cowritten by Jessi Alexander, Tommy James, and Eric Paslay for their upcoming album. The song and the Swon Brothers’s debut album will be produced by Mark Bright, whose long list of credits includes all four of Carrie Underwood’s studio albums to date, Sara Evans’s upcoming album, and Scotty McCreery’s debut and Christmas albums.

What do you think of the clip, and how do you see the Swon Brothers doing in the country market?
