After we see the Malolo tribe return to camp after tribal council, we cut to the morning of Day 7. The tribes greet Jeff, and he informs them that they will be swapping tribes. “Drop your buffs,” he says. Angela is especially upset about the swap since she really likes her Naviti tribe. Afterwards, they pick new buffs wrapped in packages. They all open them up and see where they all stand.
NEW NAVITI: Chris, Domenick, Donathan, Libby, Laurel, James, Angela, Wendell, and Morgan
NEW MALOLO: Desiree, Sebastian, Kellyn, Bradley, Chelsea, Jenna, Stephanie, Brendan, and Michael
The new tribes begin to bond at their new camps. The old Naviti tribe is disappointed about the conditions of the Malolo camp. Bradley can’t stop complaining about how Malolo is a worse camp compared to the Naviti beach. Brendon is annoyed by Bradley’s bellyaching. In his confessional, Brendon says that Survivor is supposed to be hard. Meanwhile, on the new Naviti tribe, Chris remarks how the old Naviti have the numbers. However, he doesn’t trust Domenick, and he wants to vote him out. Chris talks to Angela and he tells her about Domenick’s idol. She believes Chris, but she doesn’t like his bossy demeanor. Right afterwards, Chris approaches Libby and James about Domenick’s hidden immunity idol. They seemingly agree to work with him to vote out Domenick, but Libby admits she’ll just play dumb for now and let Chris think he can control her vote.
The next morning, Bradley is still complaining about Malolo’s camp. He says he wants to be back at Naviti. Later, we see Stephanie and Jenna go searching for a hidden immunity idol. Brendan and Michael go searching for an idol too, and Michael stumbles onto a package behind a tree. Michael finds a hidden immunity idol. The idol he finds is one of the idols from Survivor: China. James was in possession of two hidden immunity idols when he was voted out, and Michael has one of those in his possession now. Back at Naviti, Libby and Morgan bond over the fact that they both are Catholic. They agree to work together in the game.
It’s time for the immunity challenge. They will have to go through an obstacle course and retrieve a ladder. They must then use the ladder to unravel ropes to use to pull themselves up a platform. Lastly, they must build a puzzle. The first tribe to complete it will win immunity. Along with immunity, they will also play for a tarp. Malola takes an early lead, but they lose it when it comes to figuring out how to use the ladder. Naviti takes the lead, but it becomes even again when both tribes are on the platform. Both tribes get to work building the puzzle, and Malolo completes it first. Malolo wins immunity! Jeff tells them to choose someone to send to Exile Island, but it has to be unanimous. They don’t agree, so Naviti will have to draw rocks. The person going to Ghost Island is Chris.
At Ghost Island, Chris is disappointed to miss out on tribal council since he was eager to vote out Domenick. He also smashes an urn to see if he’ll play for an advantage, but the note inside informs him he won’t play for one today. Chris gets emotional as he says this day has been the hardest one yet. In his confessional, he breaks down in tears as he talks about his mother who was diagnosed with MS.
At the Naviti camp, they discuss the vote for tonight. Angela doesn’t want to go along with Chris’s plan to vote out Domenick since she wants original Naviti to stay strong. She’s even willing to go to rocks as she says it’ll be a 4 – 4 vote. She tells Wendall this, but this actually makes Wendell suspicious about Angela. He sees Angela as Chris’s closest ally, so he now wants to rally votes against Angela. Later on, Domenick shows James, Libby, Donathan, and Laurel his fake hidden immunity idol. He even tells them it’s fake, but James admits in a confessional he is still unsure about Domenick. James then comes up with a plan to throw votes onto Morgan, but Libby is not on board with this. She would rather vote out Angela.
At tribal council, they first discuss how the original tribes plan to stay together. They then talk about potential cracks in the tribe, and Angela says she is on the fence. She could either go with the popular decision or do what is better for her game. She talks about the pressure Chris put on her, but Morgan reminds her that Chris isn’t here tonight. Jeff asks Domenick about the new tribe members, and he says he’s excited to be with new people. James admits he’s surprised that the four Naviti members might not be so tight after all. Morgan says everyone can either be lying or telling the truth. “Only time will tell,” she says. When asked about when is it okay to lie, Libby says it’s good to make sure people believe you. She’s even amused Jeff asked her that question. She calls herself a cute blonde who is usually honest. Morgan says that lying is part of the game, and everybody will lie at some point, even Libby. Afterwards, it’s time to vote.

Morgan is the third person voted out of Survivor: Ghost Island. “Don’t trust the cute blonde,” Morgan says before she walks away. After the sneak peek for next week’s episode, we see Morgan willed the Legacy Advantage to Domenick.
