Survivor 32 Kaôh Rong: Brains Brawn Beauty

CBS announced today the 18 castaways who will compete against each other on Survivor, when the series returns for its 32nd season with a special 90-minute premiere, Wednesday, Feb. 17 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.

The spring edition of Survivor, filmed on the island Kaôh R?ng in Cambodia, will be the second iteration of the theme “Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty.” The first, Season 28 took place in Cagayan Philippines, airing Winter 2014, and was so successful, the producers decided to bring the format back.

The location offers harsh conditions and relentless weather for the castaways, presenting one of the most physically grueling seasons in the show’s history.

The groupings of the three tribes, each comprised of six castaways, possess similar characteristics that make their group unique – high IQ, muscular physique and physical looks – and test whether there is any truth to the pre-conceived notion that certain characteristics will help you win the game of Survivor. All castaways will compete to outwit, outplay, outlast and ultimately be crowned Sole Survivor.

Survivor: Koah Rong was filmed BEFORE Season 32 last chance in Cambodia in early 2015.

Notable castaways for Season 32 include former NBA Player Scot Pollard (Brawn) and Big Brother contest, Caleb Reynolds (Beauty), from Season 16. An Army veteran, an emergency room doctor, a bounty hunter, a former FBI agent, a pro poker player, a superfan, and a quantitative strategist will also compete on the upcoming season.
