The ITV competition reality show, Starstruck, is back for another season in the UK. The Saturday night series will begin its second season on February 18 at 8:30 pm. on ITV1 and ITVX.
American Idol alum and Queen frontman Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight and Jason Manford are back as judges alongside Canadian country singer Shania Twain who joins the panel this year. X Factor alum and former The Voice UK coach Olly Murs serves as host. Season 1 judge, Sheridan Smith, left the show due to scheduling conflicts.
In each episode, everyday people will shed their normal personas to transform into their favorite global icons. And elite team of glam and stylists will oversee fans turn into an icon.
Series one featured performers impersonating stars including Freddie Mercury, Harry Styles, Barbra Streisand, Lionel Richie, Elton John and Cher, Rachael Hawnt, who impersonated Cher, won the show in the end.
Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning at ITV said: “Shania is one of the all time music greats, not to mention a fabulous personality, so it’s an honour to welcome her to the Starstruck panel alongside Adam, Beverley, Jason and of course Olly at the helm.”
