This is our continuation of our preview of possible Season 9 contestants. Remember, that the Hollywood round doesn’t occur until January 9th this year. We don’t know how far any of these contestants might go. And since we never see some of the competition round contestants until the competition starts, we might never see some of these people.

Introducing Moorea
Moorea is another repeat auditioner from Season 8. Don’t remember her? Well, she didn’t get a lot of screen time last year. She did get some, though. She was part of the group, Rainbow Coalition which sang “Somebody to Love”. Other notable members of that group were Danny Gokey and Jamar Rogers (Idol has yanked off a lot of S8 videos, so we don’t have them actually performing just the audio). The girls in that group didn’t sound so great (although Moorea was never featured), but she sounds MUCH better on her Myspace. She sounds a lot older than her 16 years.
Last year, Moorea made it to “The Rooms”, but was cut in Hollywood (in room 3 with Michael Castro, Leneshe Young, and India Morrison) . Does she have a better chance this year? Did the extra year season her or is 17 still just too young for her voice?
