Released today, the EP has shot up to #6 on the iTunes overall chart.  Expect it to go higher, after his appearance tonight. This young artist has something really special going on. He’s able to convey emotion and relate to a broad spectrum of music fans. It’s a rare thing. “Take it All,” with it’s accordion and guitar accompaniment, is signature Sawyer, with its easy melody and heart rending lyric. Sawyer could have a solid career in alt folk, and become a staple on alternative adult radio. Do right by this boy, Republic! You’ve got something special.

The EP album art is a photo of the Fredericks family farm in upstate New York.  Sawyer wrote on his Facebook today, “Huge thank you to my oldest brother, Skyler, for this great picture of our farm. I’m so glad we were able to use it for my EP cover. ‘When you’ve got Open fields and Blue, blue skies Up above you…'”
